OneRoster demogrphics import fields

Instructions

Review the data fields supported by the Naviance and OneRoster integration. Note the required data field and determine any additional data fields to import for staff or students.
Export a demographics file from your SIS in CSV format with the file name demographics.csv. Make sure the column headers in your file match the headers listed in the table.
Create a ZIP file using the following naming convention: NavianceOneRoster.zip
- Include required data files in the ZIP file.
  - For staff, include the manifest, orgs, and users data files.
  - For students, include the manifest, orgs, demographics, and users data files.
- Only ZIP files with a max size of 1GB will be accepted.

Column header	Requirement	Details
sourceID	Required	SourcedId of the User to which the demographics refer. Typically, this will be a student. Each user can have only one demographics record.
status	Optional	Permitted values: { “active” \| “tobedeleted” \| “inactive” }.
dateLastModified	Optional	The date that this record was last modified.
birthDate	Optional	The date of birth.
sex	Optional	Permitted values: { "male" \| "female" }.
americanIndianOrAlaskaNative	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
asian	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
blackOrAfricanAmerican	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
nativeHawaiianOrOtherPacificIslander	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
white	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
demogrphicRaceTwoOrMoreRaces	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
hispanicOrLatinoEthnicity	Optional	Permitted values: { "true" \| "false" }.
countryOfBirthCode	Optional	Country where the user was born. The permitted vocabulary is from CEDS (Version 5) for the Country of Birth element https://ceds.ed.gov/CEDSElementDetails.aspx?TermxTopicId=20002
stateOfBirthAbbreviation	Optional	State where the user was born. The permitted vocabulary is from CEDS (Version 5) for the State of Birth element https://ceds.ed.gov/CEDSElementDetails.aspx?TermxTopicId=20837
cityOfBirth	Optional	The city of birth.
publicSchoolResidenceStatus	Optional	An indication of the location of the user's legal residence relative to, within or outside, the boundaries of the public school attended and its administrative unit.
