Resume builder

Naviance has a new resume builder, tied directly to Portfolio, that lets students add portfolio entries to their resume to quickly create a custom resume. Encourage students to start using the new resume feature now.

To help students prepare for college, career, and life, Naviance provides a resume builder in Naviance Student. Students can use the resume builder to add entries by section, and then export the resume as a Word or PDF document.

The most common sections include:

• Objective

• Summary

• Education

• Awards

• Extracurricular activities

• References

• Work experience

As students add entries to their resumes, you can review their information from the student folder, which is helpful when writing a letter of recommendation for a student.
