SchoolSync

SchoolSync™ lets your district automate data imports so student, parent, and test score data is always up to date.

To implement SchoolSync™, you must have:

  • The permission to install software on your computer
  • Knowledge of command-line interfaces for use of cURL

After you complete the initial data import using Data Import in Naviance, student, parent, and test score data imports can be automated using the SchoolSync™ web service. The SchoolSync™ web service will use the field and code mappings set during the initial data import in Naviance. Other configuration settings will be specified when the web service is set up.

Automation is supported for:

  • Student data (adding new student records)
  • Student data (updating existing student records)
  • Parent data (adding new parent records)
  • Parent data (updating existing parent records)
  • SAT scores 
  • PSAT scores
  • ACT scores
  • PLAN scores
  • EXPLORE scores 
  • SAT Subject Test scores 
  • AP score 
  • State exam scores (multiple subjects per row)
  • State exam scores (single subjects per row)
  • Student course data (for Course Planner or Naviance Insights Premium users)
