Instructions

Review the data fields supported by the Naviance and OneRoster integration. Note the required data field and determine any additional data fields to import for students.
Complete the pre-integration preparation steps.
Prepare your data file.
- Add metadata extension fields for students to a User data file.
- Use the following column header naming convention for the metadata extension fields: metadatacolumnRole
Create a ZIP file using the following naming convention: NavianceOneRoster.zip
- Only ZIP files with a max size of 1GB will be accepted.
Configure the integration in Naviance.

Student data fields for integration

8	Counselor	Optional	Create counselor accounts in Naviance before importing student counselor assignments. To make the matching process easier, use counselor last name instead of ID number. If using ID number, Counselor ID can be the employee ID number entered when creating the user account.
