Career planning	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Coast Guard military profile student information sharing	A new functionality is being added to the Naviance’s Coast Guard military profile. When students favorite the Coast Guard military branch, they will be given the option to connect with the Coast Guard by submitting their information to the Coast Guard for contact. This functionality will work exactly as it does today for some colleges in Naviance. Students have the ability to modify and specify what information they share. They also can cancel their request to share information with the Coast Guard at any time.
Analytics	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Student Readiness Report: data completeness	The Student Readiness Report (SRR) data completeness connects missing readiness data to the Student Readiness Report, giving counselors and districts a complete picture of every student's college, career, and life readiness in one place. Goals, curriculum completion, work-based learning hours, scholarships, planner 2.0, portfolio entries, resume and full assessment results, data that already exists in Naviance, now automatically populate in SRR without requiring additional data entry. Counselors can review and generate reports with full visibility into student progress.
College planning	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Modernized Staff College Profiles	The modernized staff college profiles experience, previously available through early access, has been enabled for all schools. Designed to make it easier for staff to access and analyze college information, the updated experience features streamlined navigation across General, Applications, Analytics, and Admissions sections, helping users quickly find the information they need. Staff will also benefit from a redesigned header with enhanced search and filter capabilities, improved organization of key metrics and supporting details, and a modernized Applications tab with an updated layout.
Career planning	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Roadtrip Nation revamp	Naviance is releasing a redesigned Roadtrip Nation experience for student users. This includes a personalized homepage with recommended leader interviews, an improved search experience, the ability to favorite Roadtrip Nation leader interviews, and a redesigned leader profile. Course Planner	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Course IDs shown for course relationships	In response to requests from clients, Course Planner has added Course IDs to the courses selected as part of Equivalents, Corequisites, Pre-requisites, and Credit recovery courses shown across the Staff and Student experience. This will avoid confusion in districts and schools where courses may have the same name, but different IDs.
Career planning	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	Work-Based Learning Partner Portal MFA support	As part of Naviance's ongoing commitment to data security, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be introduced for all Work-Based Learning Partner Portal users. This unobtrusive enhancement offers flexible verification options, including authenticator apps or a one-time email passcode after the initial login. MFA helps strengthen account security and better protect sensitive student information.
College planning	September 23, 2026	Enhancement	College profile field updates	Naviance is removing fields from college profiles that are no longer supported by the data provider Peterson’s. Many of these fields are either redundant or provide data that is not impactful for a high school student in evaluating potential colleges. The following fields have been removed: Majors section One Year Job Placement Rate Study Options section Combined Degree Program Graduate Study Abroad Graduate Study Abroad Credit Graduate Study Abroad Noncredit Study Abroad Credit Study Abroad Noncredit Student Life section Campus Pride Index – LGBTQ friendly rating – This rating index no longer exists, and the data is no longer refreshed so Naviance is removing it to ensure the most relevant and accurate data. Distance from college to “Nearest City” Athletics section Conferences Student organizations and services section ROTC – Serviceperson Opportunity College Majors offered section Removing columns in the Majors table for all degree types expect for Associate and Bachelor's degree. Moving forward, only Associate and Bachelors degrees will show in this table. Removing the headers that separate and group majors Additionally, Naviance is updating the Fraternities and Sororities fields in the Student organizations and services section in the Student Life section. This field will now display a yes or no next to indicate if the college or university has fraternities, sororities, or both. Previously, the count of the number of fraternities and sororities showed in this section.
