AI letters of recommendation update to remove individual college dropdown |
We've updated the AI letter of recommendation (LOR) feature. The dropdown menu listing individual schools has been removed, as it created confusion—suggesting the letter was tailored to specific institutions. In its place, we've added a clear statement indicating that the letter is intended for all colleges the student is applying to and direction on where to upload individual, tailored letters This change ensures better clarity and aligns with the existing functionality of uploaded letters of recommendation. |

App Type choice in Naviance Student |
When students manually add a college to their active application list from Naviance Student, they’ll now be required to select an application type/deadline—it will no longer default to the first option. Additionally, they must indicate how they plan to submit their application before the app can be added. Note: This change only applies when a college is moved from Colleges I’m Thinking About to Colleges I’m Applying To, or when a college is added directly to the Colleges I’m Applying To list from Naviance Student. It does not affect colleges added into the list through the Common App sync. |
