Set Up Self-Discovery

To set up self-discovery:

Assign the desired staff user role permissions in Naviance.
Give students access to the selected features in Naviance Student.

Only users with a Career Key or AchieveWorks® subscription can access the related permissions, settings, and tasks. Contact Naviance Support for subscription information related to Career Key or the AchieveWorks series of assessments.

Assign staff user role permissions

Assign the following user role permissions, so staff can review assessment progress and results and reset assessments for students in Naviance.

View AchieveWorksIntelligences results	Access individual student results of AchieveWorksIntelligences in the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
View AchieveWorksLearning and Productivity results	Access individual student results of AchieveWorksLearning and Productivity in the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
View AchieveWorksPersonality results	Access individual student results of AchieveWorksPersonality in the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
View AchieveWorks Skills results	Access individual student results of AchieveWorks Skills in the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
View Career Interest Profiler results	Access individual student results of Career Interest Profiler in the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
View Career Key assessment results	Access individual student results of Career Key on the Self-Discovery section of a student account.

Reset AchieveWorksIntelligences	Reset AchieveWorks Intelligences for a student from the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
Reset AchieveWorksLearning and Productivity	Reset AchieveWorksLearning and Productivity for a student from the Self-Discovery section of a student account.

Reset Career Interest Profiler	Reset Career Interest Profiler for a student from the Self-Discovery section of a student account.
Reset Career Key assessment	Reset Career Key for a student from the Self-Discovery section of a student account.

Staff cannot reset assessments for students in bulk or disable students' ability to reset assessments.

Select Naviance Student settings

Select the following features so students can access the Self-Discovery section and assessments in Naviance Student.

Assign Success Plan tasks related to Self-Discovery

Assign the following tasks to students to track students' progress in completing each assessment.

If using Naviance for Districts, edit and assign tasks at the district level to monitor and track task completion for all schools in the district.
