Manage programs

Create custom programs to track groups of tasks and meet school, district, or state requirements.

In addition to creating custom programs, districts can now use state-aligned program templates, which are pre-built, ready-to-adopt programs authored by PowerSchool that align to state-mandated CCLR, CTE, and Work-Based Learning requirements. Districts can browse, preview, and adopt these templates directly within Success Planner 2.0, reducing manual setup effort and helping maintain alignment with state mandates.

After a template is adopted, it becomes a district-owned copy that can be customized, published to schools, and assigned to students. The original PowerSchool template remains centrally maintained and unaffected. Templates are currently available for district-level adoption only.

Published programs allow you to track progress at the program level while continuing to track individual task completion.
