The Naviance staff dashboard helps educators and school administrators access essential student information and workflow tools quickly. Available on the school and district home page, the dashboard displays the school or district name and user profile details while surfacing critical data through customizable widgets. Widget data updates automatically every 15 minutes.
Search student
The widget allows staff to search for students by last name directly from the staff dashboard.

Select a Class/Grade or choose All classes/grades.

Enter the student’s last name.

Click Search.
Career exploration
This widget displays student interest metrics across favorite careers, military branches, career clusters, and sub-clusters.

For the selected class, choose a career, career cluster, or sub-cluster from the list to get insights.
Self-discovery assessment
This widget highlights the top five Self-Discovery assessments completed by students, summarizing strengths, interests, and personality traits to guide academic and career planning.

Select a class and grade to review Self-Discovery assessment results.

Hover over the chart to view student progress across assessment stages (Started, In Progress, Completed).
Student path
This widget provides details on student participation across primary and secondary post-secondary paths. This reviews planned and reported post-secondary outcome data by student.
Select a class or grade to filter student path outcomes by:

Click the email icon for a path to communicate with all students on that path. Review the recipient list, subject line, and message body before sending the email.
Application summary
This widget tracks college application requests sent to staff for a selected class and grade, including pending requests.
This widget displays metrics for:

Applications due in the next 7 days

Number of students not matched with any applications
Transcript requests
This widget allows staff to review and manage student requests for academic transcripts to be sent to colleges and universities.

Select a class and grade to review the number of transcript requests submitted by students.
Favorited reports
This widget provides quick access to custom reports marked with a heart icon. Up to five favorited reports appear on the dashboard in alphabetical order after refreshing the page.
Tasks
This widget allows staff to manage and track tasks assigned to students.
Select a class and grade to review task status by:

Tasks by due dates

Tasks that are pending or have upcoming due dates

Tasks by grade level
Click the bell icon to send a task reminder to students with a not started or in progress status.
Class of (year) snapshot
This widget displays application submission totals, college attendance percentages, and application types for a graduating class.

Select a class and choose a snapshot view from the drop-down list. By default, the widget shows students with submitted applications; filter options allow you to review students attending college.
Student usage report
The Student usage report widget provides district staff members with visibility into student engagement trends and login patterns across schools.

Select a class, grade, and month to review student logins for the current academic year, including counts for students who have logged in and those who have yet to log in.
Activity Feed
The activity feed provides staff with real-time visibility into student actions across key workflows on the staff dashboard.
