Person Management Validation | Forms that collect contact data will enforce stricter configuration and validation rules. The enhancements made to these validation checks ensure that data integrity is preserved throughout the project. Each Remove/Restore Contact element on a form must explicitly map three fields: a Contact ID field, a Contact First Name field, and a Contact Last Name field. This validation check occurs at nearly every point in the form lifecycle, including: previewing or publishing a form, roster notification validation, when a parent accesses the form, and during data delivery. Form Builder’s Remove/Restore Contact element also includes a Disable "Remove Contact" Option checkbox that allows districts to hide the Remove Contact button family, while still enforcing read-only behavior on pre-populated contact data. Forms that are currently published and live to parents are not affected by this release and will continue to function without modification. Modifications made to existing forms that use the legacy Person Management configuration format must be updated to the new configuration before it can be previewed/published. |
Self-Service Form Cloning | District administrators with the Configuration role can clone Enrollment forms directly from the customer admin portal without contacting Support. For districts that go through this process every year, it's a meaningful step toward managing their own enrollment cycle. The "Clone…" option appears in the More menu (“…” icon) on each form on the Form Builder page. The cloned form retains the original title, advances to the next K12 Academic Year, and is set to Closed status so district staff can finish configuration before the form goes live. If the next K12 Academic Year is not yet enabled, the system enables it automatically. Any linked Year-Round Updates are also cloned and connected to the new form. The "Clone…" option is available for forms that have an associated K12 Academic Year of 2025 / 2025–2026 or later, have not yet been cloned, and have not been decommissioned. Decisions, Checklists, and Recommendations are not in scope for this release. Automated email reminders are also sent to administrators, prompting them to kick off their annual rollover. |

Scheduled Print Template Export to SFTP | Print templates can be automatically generated and included in scheduled data exports to an SFTP folder. When the scheduled job runs, the system produces a PDF of the specified print template for each submission and delivers it to a secure SFTP folder. The output file name can be customized per print template, making it easy to organize the generated files. Multiple print templates can be exported in a single job run, and conditional logic can be defined to control which print templates are generated based on the state of each record (for example, the print templates used for Kindergartners versus the print templates used for 9th graders). Enabling this feature is optional and must be performed by PowerSchool Enrollment Support. |
