64-Bit Application Pools

PowerSchool Enrollment’s application pools are upgraded to 64-bit, which increases usable server memory, improves processing capacity, and is aimed at alleviating intermittent Redis Timeout errors.

School Choice Seating Unit Messages

School/district staff can now add and manage custom messages to each seating unit detail page (that is, the seated list and waitlist page) in the School Choice Workspace. These messages support plain text, a maximum of 1000 characters, and three distinct message styles: Information, Warning, and Error. When displayed, any user with access to the page will see the message.

A new “Manage Seating Unit Messages” permission is available in the School Choice tab of a Permission Profile. Only users with this permission will be able to add and manage these seating unit messages.

These seating unit messages can be used to communicate relevant information to the appropriate users in the contextually appropriate location without needing to disseminate this information through other mediums.

Alternate Lottery Result Subtitle

The “Lottery Results” subtitle on the parent-facing lottery result page as part of the School Choice Result Notification & Decision Response feature can now be customized. When customized, the alternate subtitle is shown in its place. The subtitle can be customized in each enabled language.

The configuration of this alternate subtitle is performed by PowerSchool Enrollment Specialists on a form-by-form basis.

Email Communication Cap Removal - Submission Workspace

The 5000 record cap on the Send Email task in the Submission Workspace is removed. This task can now send emails to any number of records within a single job, and when processing higher record counts have improved performance.

Email Communication Cap Removal - Roster Workspace

The 5000 record cap on the Notify and Send Email tasks in the Roster Workspace is removed. These tasks can now send emails to any number of records within a single job, and when processing higher record counts have improved performance.

The 5000 record cap on the Send Result Emails, Send Email, Send Seated Emails, Send Waitlist Emails, Send Custom Seated Emails, Send Custom Waitlist Emails, and Send Custom Emails to Selected Students tasks in the School Choice Workspace is removed. These tasks can now send emails to any number of records within a single job, and when processing higher record counts have improved performance.

Automated Student Data Sync Between Submission and School Choice Workspaces

When school/district staff change the first name, middle name, last name, and/or date of birth for a student within a submission record in the Submission Workspace, any related student records in the School Choice Workspace are now automatically updated to keep the data in sync.

Admin - Unable to Import Data from Aeries

After a recent Aeries update, importing data from Aeries was unsuccessful. This was due to a new column in Aeries that does not adhere to the XML naming requirements. This issue was resolved.

Admin - Typo in New Account Creation Email

The “New PowerSchool Enrollment Account” activation email contained a typo within the content of its body. This issue was resolved.

Admin – Delivery Data Cleared when Records Manually Matched

As part of the standard data delivery workflow, when a match was manually selected through the match window for any record type, the data within the delivery record was inadvertently cleared. This occurred when partial or incorrect configurations existed within the Submission Workspace Matching feature. This issue was resolved.
