Responder - Response PDF Reports

The Response PDF Reports feature simplifies the generation and export of form responses into well-structured PDF files for all user roles - administrators, parents, students, and teachers.

Form Response PDF Export (administrators, parents, students, and teachers):

A new “Export PDF” option is now available at the top-right corner of any Form Response page. PDFs maintain the original form layout, including side-by-side containers and language localization. Form elements are dynamically shown or hidden based on Workflow Mapping and Element-level Permissions

Bulk PDF Export (Admin-only):

From the Response Report page, administrators can export PDFs for one or multiple responses. They can choose between Single PDF, where all responses are combined into one document, or Multiple PDFs, where each response is exported into separate files that are downloaded as a Zip archive. Furthermore, administrators can customize the export by selecting all or a subset of form elements.

Built-in HTML Error Handling:

While generating PDF, the system automatically corrects malformed or broken HTML from the form elements and ensures reliable PDF generation without requiring any manual fixes to form elements within the form editor.

Limitations:

Custom CSS classes applied in the form builder are not supported. All elements are rendered with default system styles.
Cloud Document Attachments and PIN/Password elements are excluded from the PDF output.

Description

Admin - Customizable Race Element (Enhancement)

School and district administrators now have greater flexibility in managing race selections within forms. A new feature allows selected race codes to be excluded from the race dropdown in form responses.

What’s New:

A new section titled “Exclude the Following Race Codes” has been added under:
Form Editor > Race Element > Properties. This section lists all race codes from District Race Codes (managed in PowerSchool SIS under the Race and Ethnicity page). By default, all race codes are included. Administrators can check the codes they wish to exclude from form dropdowns.

Key Behavior:

Excluded codes will not appear as options for respondents when the form is published.
Previously selected values that are now excluded will still be shown in submitted responses, but will no longer be selectable, preserving data integrity without loss.

Admin - Pre-Registration Enrollment Email

Previously, when school or district administrators attempted to send or resend Enrollment emails from the Pre-Registration Form Submissions Report, the process would fail if the Translation Manager plug-in was configured with a locale and country code combination that did not exist in PowerSchool SIS. In such cases, the system was unable to retrieve any translations, failing to send emails.

This has been resolved. The system now automatically falls back to the PowerSchool SIS default locale when a matching translation is unavailable, ensuring that Enrollment emails are sent successfully even when unsupported locale settings are in place.

Previously, users experienced intermittent issues accessing Forms and Reports due to problems related to the Enrollment Express/Ecollect locale migration process.

This has been resolved, ensuring reliable and consistent access to all Forms and Reports across the platform.
