Delete Full Student Records

Navigation: System Management, Data, Delete Full Student Records

  • Student records can only be deleted at the district level. The Delete Full Student Records function permanently removes records at the scheduled date and time, which can be canceled or rescheduled before then from the Deletion Status page. A backup of necessary data should be created beforehand.

  • Active students cannot be deleted, mark them inactive to delete.

  1. On the Start Page, select one or more inactive students that you want to delete. Refer Student Basic Search for more information.

    1. Navigate to System Management, Data, and Delete Full Student Records. The inactive students selected from the start page will be displayed in the Delete Full Student Records page.

  2. On the Delete Full Student Records page, click Next.

Confirm students to be deleted

  1. Select or deselect students from the list. To revise the whole selection, visit the Start Page.

  2. Click Next.

Set deletion date & time

  1. Set a date and time to schedule the deletion.

By default, the deletion date and time is set 24 hours from your current date and time.

  1. Click Next.

Review & schedule deletion

  1. Click Confirm scheduled deletion of xx student records to continue with the selected number of student.

  2. Review the District Responsibilities & Deletion Impacts disclaimer before proceeding to delete the student record.

  3. You can download the deletion details in PDF and CSV formats.

You can go back to the previous steps and revise your selection or change the deletion time. Once Schedule deletion is selected, the students selected cannot be revised or modified. However, you can cancel or reschedule the scheduled deletion from the Deletion Status page.

  1. Click Schedule deletion.

Confirmation

The number of students and time of deletion is displayed. You cannot revise or modify the selection, but you can cancel the scheduled deletion from the Deletion Status page.
