Configure Your Audience for Advanced Awareness

Changes made to Connection settings are applied to Advanced Awareness settings and vice versa.

Set the academic profile of students that you want to receive your message and be asked to connect with your institution.

If you do not set academic thresholds, students with any academic profile will receive your message and be asked to connect.

1. From the Intersect homepage, navigate to the Advanced Awareness tile and click Configure.
2. From Configure Your Audience, select Academic Threshold.

3. Enter academic parameters for each audience using either:

   • Default Values

     1. Enter Default Filter Values for the Minimum GPA, Minimum SAT Combined, and Minimum ACT Combined fields. Students will need to meet at least one to receive your message and be asked to connect.

     2. Select Enabled and Use Default Filter Values for the desired audience.
        

        

        If you change the default values while Use Default Filters Values is selected, it will automatically be cleared.

   • Custom Values

     1. Select Enabled for the desired audience.

     2. Clear Use Default Filter Values if selected.

     3. Enter values in the Minimum GPA, Minimum SAT Combined, and Minimum ACT Combined fields for that audience.

4. Click Save.
