Advanced Awareness
Overview
Use the Advanced Awareness feature, to present custom messages to students according to their interest in competitors or particular majors.
This feature is available with an Advanced Awareness Subscription. Complete this form to get more information.
Understand Your Subscription
To review your Awareness subscription, go to the Awareness tile on the homepage, then click Configure. By default, Your Advanced Awareness and Connection Subscriptions page displays, and you can review all current and future subscriptions provisioned for your institution.
| Audience | Indicates your subscription's chosen location, the types of students to engage within that location, and the timeframe for your subscription. |
| Competitors | Indicates your chosen competitor institutions for that specific audience. If no competitors apply to the subscription, No Competitors Available displays. |
| Majors | Enabled indicates that majors were purchased for that specific audience. Disabled indicates that majors were not purchased. |
| Connection | Indicates if you can invite best-fit students to connect with your institution for that specific audience. Enabled indicates that Connection was purchased. Disabled indicates that Connection was not purchased.
High schools must choose to activate this feature in Naviance and students must choose to accept the invitation to connect in Naviance Student.
