Form

Overview

When working with multi-page forms, you may need to add new pages, edit existing pages, reorder pages, change who can access and delete pages based on your district's needs.

You can do this on the Form page:

1. Choose Configuration from the main menu, then Form Builder.
2. Select the form you want to work with. 
3. Click the Form tab.

Pages

When you first access the Form page, the Pages button is highlighted by default, and the pages that make up your form are listed. Note that Restricted and Private forms support multiple pages, while Public forms only support a single page.

Add a Page

1. Click Add Page. 
   • The new page name is set to New Page N, where N is the new total number of pages. 
   • By default, the new page includes a Header, Section, and Group element.
2. Verify the new page is added to the page list.

Edit a Page

1. Select the page you want to work with.
2. Click the Settings (gear) icon.
3. Update the Navigation Label. 
   1. The label appears on the form as a link in the navigation menu.
   2. Page names should not contain any special characters such as tick marks, ampersands, and asterisks.
4. Set the Visibility of the page.
   
   1. Select Show to always show the page.
   2. Select Show If to display the page only when defined conditions are met.
      1. Click Add Rules. The "Show 'New Page N' If..." pop-up appears.
      2. Add or edit rules, as needed.
      3. Click Back.
5. Click Done.
6. Add elements to the page as needed.

Delete a Page

Deleting a page deletes all the content of that page. If a page contains elements that are restricted (or if the page itself has been restricted) by PowerSchool Support, the page cannot be deleted.

1. Select the page you want to work with.
2. Click the Settings (gear) icon.
3. Click Delete Page.
4. Click Delete.

Reorder a Page

To reorder a page, select the page you want to move, and drag and drop it to its new location.
