Student Maintenance: Sacraments

Overview

This is the seventh and final accordion bar in Student Demographics. Entries on the Sacraments screen, which holds a list of the Sacraments received by the single student you selected, are begun when the student is admitted to your school and is updated as required. The Sacraments window is available only if the "Catholic" option is selected in the Board Preferences screen.

Field Descriptors

Catholic	Select this box if the student is Roman Catholic.
Verification Document	The student's verification document is displayed. Picklist is visible if you have update privileges. The selections in the picklist are the values with the Active flag on and Proof of Catholic flag on, from the verification documents validation table. Blank is the default value. The field is not mandatory.
At Parish	Shows the Parish from which the student's verification document was obtained. Auto-complete if you have update privileges. Auto-complete gets values when organization type code equals "Parish" and Parish Active flag is on from the Organizations – Parishes validation table. A new parish can be added here by typing the parish name into any one of the parish fields, if you have the correct security defined. Any parish entered on this screen will automatically be added to the Organizations - Parishes validation table. Blank is the default value. The field is not mandatory.

Sacraments	The values for the first column are: Baptism Reconciliation Communion Confirmation
Sacrament Flag	When the student has the particular sacrament, the box will be selected. Editable if you have update privileges.
Date Obtained	The date the sacrament was obtained displayx as DD/MM/YYYY There is no default value The field is not mandatory Editable if you have update privileges and Sacrament Flag is on for the row. If editable, on click, date picker opens
At Parish	The parish from which the sacrament was obtained is displayed. Auto-complete if you have update privileges and Sacrament Flag is on for the row. Auto-complete gets values with organization type code equals "Parish" and parish active flag on from the Organizations - Parishes validation table. Blank is the default value. The field is not mandatory.
