EAS: OnSIS Mapping (Board)

In Elementary Achievement Setup, this is the second accordion bar on the School Report Periods tab. 

  • This form is used to specify the mapping of Report Periods your schools will use for October, March and June OnSIS submissions. 
  • This information is pushed out to the selected schools.
  • The Board may choose to give schools the ability to modify the OnSIS mapping values for their individual school by assigning the school user the security task  EAS - Map Report Periods for OnSIS (School Level).

Security

This accordion bar is controlled by the EAS - Map Report Periods for OnSIS (Board Level) security task. Our application adheres to the "Update Flag" setting for the particular user when determining if fields are editable. The "All Students" flag must be set "On," in order for updates to be allowed.

Initial State

When this accordion bar opens initially, and there was no previous mapping done, the drop-down lists for each of the three OnSIS submission periods are populated with default values of October = P, March = 1, and June = 2. Below that is a grid of the schools to which you have access.

Page Controls

October

  • This is the OnSIS Report Period value for school period P
  • Populated by the system with P, 1, 2 values
  • The default value is P.

March

  • This is the OnSIS Report Period value for school period 1
  • Populated by the system with 1, 2 values
  • The default value is 1.

June

  • This is the OnSIS Report Period value for school period 2
  • The only acceptable value is 2.

You can can select the schools to be updated with the new OnSIS mapping information, then Click Update to push this information out to those schools.


Command Buttons


Update

The button is visible only if you have update access for this page.

  • Trillium checks whether the OnSIS Report Periods have already been modified by schools. If there were such schools: A message will ask you, "Do you wish to override those mapped Report Periods that were changed for individual schools?"
  • If 'Yes,' Report Periods are updated in all selected schools.
  • If 'No,' no updates are made in the selected schools with conflicts.
