EAS: Copy Student Assignment

This is the second accordion section when you select Subject Assignment by Student in Elementary Achievement Setup. This screen is used to copy individual student corrections from a selected Report Period to the next Report Period:

  • The students listed on the page are those who have modified Subject assignments in the selected Report Period and do not have modified Subject assignments in the next Report Period.
  • Select one or more students to copy data from and to the selected report period.  
  • View Subjects button shows details of subjects assigned to the selected student in all Report Periods in the pop-up.

Initial State 

When this accordion bar opens:

  • P-1 option is selected
  • Include Optional Classes is checked
  • The list shows all students with Achievement Modifications in Report Period P

Include Optional Classes

Checkbox indicating the Modified Optional Classes should be included in subjects Copy function
Default value is On.

Select/Deselect All

Select/Deselect checkboxes, which are used to select students to be copied to the next Report Period.

Command Buttons



Copy Subjects

Clicking the button performs this:

  1.  All subjects are copied for the selected students from the selected to the next Report Pperiod
  2.  Those students whose subjects could not be copied will be added to the error log
  3.  The copied Subjects are stored in the database. 

View Subjects

Clicking here brings a pop-up with details of Subjects assigned to the selected student in all Report Periods. 

Error Log

The error log pops up after the copying is complete and contains these types of errors:

  1.  Mark or comment for the Subject in source Report Period exists in the target Report Period. Such Subjects could not be copied.
  2.  Subject does not exist in the target Report Period in the school and year.
  3.  The same set of Subjects exists in source and target Report Periods; there is nothing to copy.
  4.  The same set of mandatory Subjects exists in source and target Report Periods; there is nothing to copy.
