PowerSchool Components - Mexico

Localization version 25.7.0.0 includes localized packages for Mexico. To utilize these packages, customers must ensure that PowerSchool SIS Core version 25.5.1.0 or higher is installed. Customers are advised to contact CloudOps to request the installation of the appropriate localization package for Mexico, along with the required SIS Core version 25.5.1.0 or higher.

The Mexico Localization package version 25.7.0.0 is automatically installed when 'Mexico' is selected from the country dropdown list and 'Mexico Common' is chosen from the state/province dropdown during the PowerSchool SIS Core version 25.7.0.0 installation.

If a customer is currently using the standard PowerSchool Core version (without localization enhancements) and does not wish to install Localization package version 25.5.1.0 or higher, they must clearly indicate this in their request to Cloudops. This will ensure that Cloudops does not select "Mexico" from the country dropdown during installation.

For customers upgrading only to PS SIS Core 25.5.1.0 or higher—without upgrading to Localization version 25.7.0.0 or above—they should avoid selecting "Mexico" as the country during the initial installation. If they later choose to install the Localization package, they can run the Localization installer at that time, select "Mexico" as the country, and the installer will apply the appropriate localizations accordingly.

PowerSchool Components - UAE

Localization version 25.7.0.0 includes the localized packages for UAE and depends on PowerSchool SIS Core version 25.7.0.0 or higher. Customers will need to request Cloudops for installing the UAE Localization package along with PowerSchool SIS Core version 25.7.0.0 or higher.

The UAE Localization package version 25.7.0.0 is automatically installed when 'United Arab Emirates' is selected from the country dropdown list and 'United Arab Emirates Common' is chosen from the state/province dropdown during the PowerSchool SIS Core version 25.7.0.0 installation.

If a customer is currently using the standard PowerSchool Core version (without localization enhancements) and does not intend to install the Localization package version 25.7.0.0 or higher, they must clearly notify Cloudops in their request. This will ensure that "United Arab Emirates" is not selected from the country dropdown during installation.

For customers upgrading only to PS SIS Core 25.7.0.0 or higher—without installing the Localization package—they should avoid selecting "United Arab Emirates" as the country during the initial setup. If they later choose to implement the Localization package, they can run the installer at that time, select "United Arab Emirates" as the country, and the installer will apply the relevant localizations accordingly.
