Admin - Custom Contact Address Structure | School and district administrators can now customize the contact address structure within Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms using the Manage Contact Custom Address Structure configuration. With this configuration, school and district administrators can now define up to seven custom address components, each with customizable labels and translations. This configuration is inherited by all contact elements across all forms, eliminating the need for repetitive setup. Additionally, the feature supports soft match, exact match and exclusion options for address components while performing the contact match. With this configuration enabled, parents will see the new address structure when they edit or add a new address within the contact element for any form. The updated address will be stored in the respective PersonAddress column within PowerSchool Schema fields configured upon contact match and delivery. This feature will be independently or in conjunction with Internationalization Duplicate Contact Check for ID-based contact match. Note that this feature requires the Duplicate Contact Prevention feature to be enabled, which is currently in Controlled Availability. |
Parent - Automatic Email Parent Notification | Automatic Parent and Student Form Notifications: Parents will no longer need to manually configure email notification preferences with this addition. All notifications including form submission, approval, and rejection are now automatically sent to the email address associated with the parent’s Web Access Account in PowerSchool SIS. This improvement guarantees consistent and reliable delivery of notifications to all parents, regardless of their access to PowerSchool SIS Parent Portal or MyPowerHub. Form Notification Configuration: The notification settings in the Form Builder have been enhanced, separating administrator and parent notification options to improve usability. Parent notifications are now divided into three sub-options: Submission Notification, Approval Notification, and Rejection Notification, providing greater flexibility in communication between parents and schools or districts. This ensures a more streamlined, customizable approach to parent-school communication. |
Enhancements
Product Area | Description |
---|---|
Admin - Improved Contact Management | Contact management through Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms has been improved with following enhancements to give users - parents, student, administrator, or teacher - greater control over their contact information. Defining Contact Order: Users can now change and control the contact order through Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms. This enhancement allows users to directly manage the order in which they want the contacts to appear, reducing the need for district administrators to manually update the contact order based on parent request. Setting Preferred Phone Number: Users can now designate which contact phone numbers are listed as the preferred phone number through Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms. Users can set contact phone numbers as preferred while editing the contact information within the form. This update ensures that the preferred phone number is accurately reflected in the PowerSchool SIS upon form submission or approval (if approval is enabled), streamlining communication preferences. Setting Primary Email: Users can now control which contact email is listed as the primary email through Enrollment Express/Ecollect forms. Only one email can be set as primary, ensuring consistent behavior with PowerSchool SIS contacts. Changes will be updated in the PowerSchool SIS contact upon form submission or approval (if approval is enabled). This enhancement simplifies the process for users to efficiently manage their primary email information. Note that these enhancements work independently or in conjunction with Duplicate Contact Prevention (in Controlled Availability). |
Internationalization - Multi-Language and RTL Support for Reports | Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms now fully support multi-byte (non-English) characters across all languages in key reports, including the Response Report, Student Support Plan, Category Completion, and Pre-Registration Reports. This enhancement ensures accurate representation of non-English characters, improving accessibility for users worldwide. Additionally, RTL (Right-to-Left) orientation is now supported for PDF exports in the Response Report, Student Support Plan, and Category Completion, enabling a smoother experience for users in RTL language regions. These improvements make reports more accessible and user-friendly for diverse language and orientation needs. Limitations: PDF exports within the Response Report (including both Response PDF and Table Responses), Student Support Plan, and Category Completion reports do not currently support multi-byte (non-English) characters. While multi-byte characters are supported across the platform for these reports, they are excluded from this feature when exported as PDFs. |
Internationalization - Gregorian Event Calendar | The Event Calendar element in Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms now supports internationalization, allowing users in non-English countries to utilize the calendar in their preferred language, orientation (including RTL), and date formats. This enhancement includes localized translations for system-defined content, dynamic translations for event names and descriptions, and date localization matching user-selected formats in PowerSchool SIS Locale. These changes are applicable across all portals (administrator, teacher, parent, student) ensuring a seamless and localized experience for all users. |
Internationalization - Hijri Event Calendar Toggle | To support diverse cultural and regional requirements, Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms now include the option to display Hijri dates in addition to Gregorian dates within the Event Calendar. This enhancement ensures that users across different regions and preferences can easily toggle between only Gregorian or both Gregorian and Hijri calendar systems and view events with the correct date format as per their needs. A toggle will appear to the right of the Event Calendar Element Title, allowing you to show or hide Hijri dates next to Gregorian dates. This toggle will be available across all portals (administrator, teacher, parent, student) in the Event Calendar within Student Forms. After the toggle is enabled, Hijri dates will display alongside or above Gregorian dates for seamless date display across both calendar systems. Note that the Hijri Event Calendar toggle will be automatically available when the following configurations are enabled in PowerSchool SIS:

Internationalization - Fee Payments - Student Forms | This enhancement enables school and district administrators to view offline payment details in response reports, form submissions, and form builders, all displayed in the local currency format. School and district administrators can leverage this by setting a currency name and symbol for the district on the Units and Alphabet Filter page within PowerSchool SIS (*/admin/district/localization/localeindependentsettings.html). Furthermore, dynamic form translations have been added to support fee descriptions and offline payment instructions for Fee Payments - Student forms. Note that Online payment options such as Credit/Debit Card and eCheck/ACH will only be available for the US and Canada region. Offline payment options will be available for all regions. |
Internationalization - Student Match Criteria | School and district administrators can now configure the State_StudentNumber field within the ID-based student match criteria when approving and delivering student form submissions from pre-registration reports. This enhancement ensures that the State_StudentNumber field is delivered to PowerSchool SIS, streamlining the process and improving the accuracy of student identification. Note that the configuration of the State_StudentNumber field within ID-based student match criteria is only applicable for schools and districts outside the US or Canada. |
Resolved Issues
Product Area | Description | Reference |
---|---|---|
Admin - Form Builder unable to load a form with Event Calendar | When school or district administrators tried to edit a form with an event calendar, the form would not render and displayed a “Maximum form size exceeded” error if there were many inactive teachers in the system. This has been resolved. | EEC-29840 |
Admin - Pre-Registration report date validation | When school or district administrators accessed the Pre-registration report, an error occurred if the date field in the Pre-Registration form had a placeholder value with date validation, and the record contained a date value that could not be parsed as a date. This has been resolved. | EEC-28514 |
Admin - Duplication of custom icons on the Student Forms | When school or district administrators accessed the Student Forms page from the student search, custom icons like alerts were displayed twice, that is, in the student search and again in the student form header. The duplicated icons are now removed from the student form header. | EEC-27937 |
Parent - Form Submission | When submitting a form, the form submission would fail if the autocomplete dataset for teachers included a selected teacher with an apostrophe in their name. This has been resolved. | EEC-27573 |
Parent - Pre-Registration Form | The School Preference element within the Pre-Registration Form displayed inconsistent values, even when configured to allow only one selection. This has been resolved. | EEC-27568 |
Admin - Response Report | When an Enhanced Collection Table element in a form was configured with the "&" character in one of its columns, the submitted form response would fail to load. This has been resolved. | EEC-27567 |
Admin - Form Approval | When school or district administrators generated error logs for U_FB_ERROR_TRACE using the Data Export Manager, browser autofill for PowerSchool SIS credentials would inadvertently capture those details in the logs. This has been resolved and the trace no longer captures or displays these sensitive details. | EEC-27487 |
Parent - Forms Header | When parents logged into the PowerSchool SIS Parent Portal and accessed the form page, the “All forms” header was incorrectly displayed as "Allforms". This has been corrected. | EEC-27242 |
Parent - Form Response | When viewing a form response with read-only single-line text and paragraph elements, the cursor appeared as a blocked icon for the single-line text and an arrow cursor for the paragraph element. The cursor behavior has now been made consistent across both elements with the blocked icon. | EEC-26833 |
Teacher - Form Submission | When teachers completed a form, the recorded value for teachers was the same, even for different teachers. This has been resolved. | EEC-26664 |
Admin - Dynamic Forced Values Sum function | When a school or district administrator accessed a form response containing Dynamic Forced Values with a SUM function for an element, it intermittently generated an incorrect sum. This has been resolved. | EEC-26476 |
Admin - Form Builder Custom Notification | In some instances, the configuration of a considerable number of custom notifications to a form resulted in the form loading failure in the Form Builder for administrators. This has been resolved. | EEC-25611 |
Parent - MyPowerHub | When parent logged in via MyPowerHub opened any form and then closed the form tab or clicked the back option in the app header bar, when they attempted to open another form, they were signed out of PowerSchool SIS, requiring them to log in again to access additional EEC forms. This has been resolved. The system now ensures that users remain signed in to PowerSchool SIS. | EEC-25289 |
Parent - Form Submission with Contact Element | When a parent attempted to delete a new contact on a pending form response, the system mistakenly removed the last entered new contact instead of the intended one. This has been resolved. | EEC-25248 |
Admin - Form Access | School and district staff were unable to access forms they created due to the system interpreting users’ roles, assigned to security groups used in share permissions, as duplicates. This has been resolved and the staff will now be able to access their forms. | EEC-24966 |
Teachers - Form Responses | Teachers could not access student responses from the previous school year after the form was reset. The system has been updated to ensure that all previous responses are retained and accessible to teachers, even after the form resets for a new school year. Teachers can now seamlessly review and reference past student responses. | EEC-24177 |

Admin - Response Report | Configuring a checkbox element within the form using quotation marks caused the response report to break and show only the dash character. This has been resolved. | EEC-23565 |
Admin - Pre-Registration | When a pre-registration form was configured with school choice elements for multiple schools, the student names in the notification email received by school and district staff contained duplicates. This has been resolved. | EEC-23073 |
Admin - Form Approval | When school or district staff attempted to approve a form, the presence of an apostrophe in a staff member’s name blocked the approval process and prevented the approval window from loading. This has been resolved. | EEC-22677 |

Admin - Form Builder Share Permissions | As a school or district staff, when viewing the existing selection within the student's tab of share permissions for a form within the Form Builder, a large student list prevented the page from providing a scroll option, making it impossible for users to access the entire list. This has been resolved. | EEC-17824 |
Admin - Pre-Registration Report | When accessing a Pre-Registration report for a form that included a comma within one of the options of a Multiple Choice Element, the option with the comma did not appear in the report or export when such column was added to the Pre-Registration report. Admin - Notifications | When a form with a notification email containing field mapped to a PowerSchool SIS field is submitted, and if an error occurs upon failed submission, the administrator still received a notification as if the response was successful.
