Once a template is scheduled for import, it becomes a system template and is available for importing data.
Schedule a template for import

Navigate to the Data Import Manager page.

Click the My Templates tab.

Click the Schedule Template icon next to the template you want to schedule for import. This button only appears for users with a role permitted to edit scheduled system templates.

If you do not want PowerSchool to automatically import data, deselect Schedule Active.

Select the checkbox next to each day of the week you want PowerSchool to automatically import data.

Enter the hour and minutes you want PowerSchool to automatically import data.

Choose the method by which you want to import data.

Managed connections, such as SFTP, can be configured on the Remote Connection Management setup page.

Enter the email addresses of the people you want to send a completion report to each time it imports this file. Separate multiple addresses with commas.

Click Save.
View scheduled system templates

Navigate to the Data Import Manager page.

Click the Scheduled System Templates tab.
Templates in this tab are specific to your selected school or district context. -
Click the template name to load for import or editing.

Use the Edit icon to edit scheduled import options.

Use the Run Now icon to run the scheduled import immediately.

Use the Delete icon to delete a scheduled import.
Edit system template schedule options

Navigate to the Data Import Manager page.

Click the Scheduled System Templates tab.

Click the Edit icon next to the template you want to edit.

Edit as needed.

Click Save.
Run a Scheduled System Template Immediately

Navigate to the Data Import Manager page.

Click the Scheduled System Templates tab.

Click the Run Now icon next to the template you want to run.
Delete a Scheduled System Template

Navigate to the Data Import Manager page.

Click the Scheduled System Templates tab.

Click the Delete icon next to the template you want to delete.

Click the Confirm Delete icon.
