Make the following configuration changes to support Saudi Arabia requirements.
Set up default locale

Navigate to the System Locales page.

Select the Arabic locale.

Select the country and language.

Select System Default Locale.

Select Submit.
Set up numeric and currency format

Navigate to the System Locales page.

Select the Arabic locale.
-
For Currency Format, select #,##0.00.

Select Submit.
Set up currency code and symbol

Navigate to the Units and Alphabet Filter page.

Enter the currency name as Riyal, and the currency symbol as SAR.

Select Submit.
Add translation for Riyal

Navigate to the Localize PowerSchool page.
-
Select the Data tab.
-
Select Arabic for the locale.
-
For the functional area to translate, select Powerschool Customer Defined Data.

For the category, select Currency Name.
-
Enter Riyal, and then select Contains.

Select Retrieve Text.
-
Enter the translation.
-
Select Submit.
Set up Gregorian and Hijri calendar

Navigate to the System Locales page.
-
Select the Arabic locale.
-
For the calendar system, select Gregorian and Hijri.

Select Submit.
Display Arabic values in Object Reports for PDF

Navigate to the Report Queue Preferences page.

Select Use Advanced PDF Processing.

Select Submit.
Set default country for Student Demographics to Saudi Arabia

Navigate to the Additional System Preferences page.
-
For Default Country for Student Demographics, select Saudi Arabia.

Select Submit.
