Usage Report

Overview

The Usage Report provides insights about Naviance usage at your school or district.


Use the report dashlets to:

  • Review the total number of staff, student, parent, and guardian logins over time.
  • Assess the total number of staff, student, parent, and guardian logins per school.
  • Determine the percentage of staff, students, parents, and guardians who have logged in at least once, twice, or more than three times.
  • Drill down to individual user data.

Use the report

  1. Navigate to Analytics, select Reports 2.0, and then select Usage Report.
  2. Review the Overview information, and then select Summary, School, or Users to display the corresponding usage data.
    1. Select Summary to review key performance indicators or graphs with year-over-year logins and year-over-year logins by grade.
    2. Select School to review graphs with year-over-year logins and grade-level, year-over-year logins by school.

      To display usage details, hover over the data points or bars in the graphs.
    3. Select Users to review tables displaying monthly, yearly, or cumulative login data for individual users.

  3. Optionally, from the graph or table:
    1. Click the Maximize or Minimize icons to change the size of the graphs or tables.
    2. Click the Dashlet Actions icon to export the graph or table as a PDF or Excel document or select Bulk Export to email the report.
  4. Optionally, from the toolbar:
    • Filter the data to display data for a different grade level, gender, ethnicity, and more.
      • Click Filters, select a filter category, and the filter attributes, and then click Apply.
    • Export the page data.
      • Click Export, enable Export, and then select Printable PDF or PowerPoint. The export file downloads to your web browser.
    • Bookmark the report to create a custom report with your applied filters.
      • Click Bookmarks, click Add, enter a name, and then click the checkmark.

        To retrieve your custom report, click Bookmarks, then choose your saved report. Optionally, click More Actions and select Rename, Copy Bookmark URL, or Delete.
    • Reset the report to the default data.
      • Click Reset.
