To start using Naviance Elementary, create accounts for staff navigators and students explorers. Import data manually to create and maintain staff and student accounts or set up a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to create and maintain student accounts.
Determine what users can do and review in Naviance Elementary by assigning an access type.
|User||Assigned if the access type is left blank, includes no special privileges|
|Manager||Can access students for which they have been linked using their Navigator code or that are in a group owned by the manager|
|School Administrator||Can access all users associated with the school administrator's school|
|Administrator||Can access all users in the system|
