User Accounts
To start using Naviance Elementary, create accounts for staff navigators and students explorers. Import data manually to create and maintain staff and student accounts or set up a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to create and maintain student accounts.
Access Types
Determine what users can do and review in Naviance Elementary by assigning an access type.
Type | Definition |
---|---|
User | Assigned if the access type is left blank, includes no special privileges |
Manager | Can access students for which they have been linked using their Navigator code or that are in a group owned by the manager |
School Administrator | Can access all users associated with the school administrator's school |
Administrator | Can access all users in the system |
