User Accounts

To start using Naviance Elementary, create accounts for staff navigators and students explorers. Import data manually to create and maintain staff and student accounts or set up a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) to create and maintain student accounts.

Access Types

Determine what users can do and review in Naviance Elementary by assigning an access type.

TypeDefinition
UserAssigned if the access type is left blank, includes no special privileges
ManagerCan access students for which they have been linked using their Navigator code or that are in a group owned by the manager
School AdministratorCan access all users associated with the school administrator's school
AdministratorCan access all users in the system
