When you deliver a record to the Student Information System (SIS), the system runs through numerous data-matching steps. Various aspects of the record require matching with the existing data in the SIS before delivery.
Record matching usually has one of three outcomes: Match, No Match, or Potential Match.
Match types include Non-Enhanced and Enhanced matching (used in Student and Contact matching) and Document matching.
