PowerSchool Enrollment version 19.4.0.0 is available as of 4/19/2019.
New Features
Product Naming, Branding, and Versioning
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Product Name | Based on customer feedback, PowerSchool Registration is now PowerSchool Enrollment. |
Branding | The Admin Portal user interface now reflects PowerSchool Enrollment with the new PowerSchool logo and brand colors. |
Versioning | PowerSchool is standardizing how we refer to product releases across all PowerSchool products, which will lessen confusion across product lines. The new version format contains a year, month, maintenance indication, and escalation indication number such as: 19.4.0.0
Therefore, PowerSchool Enrollment 19.4.0.0 is a feature release in April 2019. |
User Interface
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Navigation | The Admin Portal dashboard has been removed and is replaced by an ever-present navigation menu, providing easier access to information with fewer clicks and shorter load times. |
User Interface | The Admin Portal has a new look and feel that matches the style of other PowerSchool products for a more unified experience. There are some new pages (e.g., showing you your list of forms), while all other pages continue to be accessible, allowing you to perform the same functions. |
Self-Service Form Editing
Note: These self-service tools will be made available to districts incrementally starting Spring 2019.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Edit Existing Forms | District administrative users can edit existing forms using a drag-and-drop what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) form builder. |
Edit Pages | District administrative users can add pages, edit page navigation labels, reorder pages, and delete pages in order to customize forms to meet district needs. |
Edit Form Elements | District administrative users can add elements, edit element properties (e.g., labels, note text, list options, requirements, etc.), reorder elements, and delete elements in order to customize forms to meet district needs. |
Edit Form Logic | District administrative users can edit "Show If" logic on elements such that they are shown to parents in the form only when the defined condition is met, and can edit "Required If" logic on elements such that they are required of parents in the form only when the defined condition is met. |
Edit Additional Content | District administrative users can edit the supplemental content surrounding the form (e.g., Introduction content, Submission Confirmation content, Submission Confirmation Email content, etc.). |
Edit Translations | District administrative users can enter translations for the custom form content (e.g., form name, field labels, note text, list options, additional content, etc.) in each enabled language. |
Publish Forms | District administrative users can publish forms in order to make the changes available to parents within the live forms. |
Manage Predefined Lists
Note: These self-service tools will be made available to districts incrementally starting Spring 2019.
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Edit Predefined Lists | District administrative users can manage the predefined lists that are available to reference within the form builder, including adding new predefined lists, editing existing predefined lists (e.g., adding list options, editing list options, reordering list options, deleting list option, etc.), and deleting predefined lists. |
Conditional List Options | District administrative users can define conditional values on list options within predefined lists so that those list options are only available to parents in the form when those conditional values are present within a linked field (e.g., only make a Middle School available as an option if the value '6', '7', or '8' is present within the Grade field). |
Edit Translations | District administrative users can enter translations for the custom predefined list display values in each enabled language. |
Enhancements
Feature | Description |
---|---|
API Keys and Permissions | Your internal specialist can now generate multiple API keys with separate permission configurations for your implementation, so that your organization can better control data access through different integrations. |
Resolved Issues
Feature | Description |
---|---|
District Admin - Read-Only Fields on Preview | When previewing a from, if values are entered into read-only fields and the user navigates to a different page, the entered values are cleared. This prevents the user from successfully testing form logic for fields that reference a pre-populated read-only field. This issue is now resolved. |
Registration Admin - Delivering Students Using the Deliver All Records Button | When using the Deliver All Records button to deliver student submissions to an SIS, an error, "Failed to Lazily Initialize a collection of role", is encountered. Delivery is successful; however, submissions are marked with a "Delivery Exception" tag, preventing the records from moving to the delivered view in the submission workspace. This issue is now resolved. |
