Enrollment 19.4.0.0

PowerSchool Enrollment version 19.4.0.0 is available as of 4/19/2019.

New Features

Product Naming, Branding, and Versioning

FeatureDescription
Product NameBased on customer feedback, PowerSchool Registration is now PowerSchool Enrollment.
BrandingThe Admin Portal user interface now reflects PowerSchool Enrollment with the new PowerSchool logo and brand colors.
Versioning

PowerSchool is standardizing how we refer to product releases across all PowerSchool products, which will lessen confusion across product lines.

The new version format contains a year, month, maintenance indication, and escalation indication number such as: 19.4.0.0

  • Year: 2019 = 19
  • Month: April = 4
  • Maintenance and Escalation indications: a number (1-9) = maintenance and/or escalation; 0 = no maintenance and/or escalation

Therefore, PowerSchool Enrollment 19.4.0.0 is a feature release in April 2019.

User Interface

FeatureDescription
NavigationThe Admin Portal dashboard has been removed and is replaced by an ever-present navigation menu, providing easier access to information with fewer clicks and shorter load times.
User InterfaceThe Admin Portal has a new look and feel that matches the style of other PowerSchool products for a more unified experience. There are some new pages (e.g., showing you your list of forms), while all other pages continue to be accessible, allowing you to perform the same functions.

Self-Service Form Editing

Note: These self-service tools will be made available to districts incrementally starting Spring 2019.

Conditional List OptionsDistrict administrative users can define conditional values on list options within predefined lists so that those list options are only available to parents in the form when those conditional values are present within a linked field (e.g., only make a Middle School available as an option if the value '6', '7', or '8' is present within the Grade field).

Enhancements

FeatureDescription
API Keys and Permissions

Your internal specialist can now generate multiple API keys with separate permission configurations for your implementation, so that your organization can better control data access through different integrations.

Resolved Issues

FeatureDescription
District Admin - Read-Only Fields on PreviewWhen previewing a from, if values are entered into read-only fields and the user navigates to a different page, the entered values are cleared. This prevents the user from successfully testing form logic for fields that reference a pre-populated read-only field. This issue is now resolved.
Registration Admin - Delivering Students Using the Deliver All Records ButtonWhen using the Deliver All Records button to deliver student submissions to an SIS, an error, "Failed to Lazily Initialize a collection of role", is encountered. Delivery is successful; however, submissions are marked with a "Delivery Exception" tag, preventing the records from moving to the delivered view in the submission workspace. This issue is now resolved.
