Details

The Details page contains basic information about a form.

  1. From the main menu, select Configuration, then Form Builder.
  2. Select the form you want to work with. By default, the Details tab is selected.

  3. Edit the Form Name as you want it to appear on the form for parents.

    • You can enter up to 200 characters.

    • The name of the form should reflect the purpose of the form and convey it to the parents as effectively as possible. For example, Kindergarten Registration 2019-2020.
    • For Public forms, the form name appears at the top of the page.
    • For Restricted or Private forms, the form name appears at the top of the left navigation menu.
  4. Verify the Academic Year is correct.
  5. Verify the Form Type is correct as it determines how the form is shared and how information is collected. The form type is set by an administrator when they create the form and cannot be updated.
    • Public: A one-page form that a parent does not need to sign in to their account to access. Parents cannot save progress on the form or come back to it later.
    • Restricted: A multi-page form that requires the parent to log in. Parents can save their progress and come back to the form later.
    • Private: Similar to restricted forms but it requires an invitation with an access code (Snapcode)  to access the form.
