Buckets

Buckets Overview (Manage)

Buckets are collections of accounts grouped according to rules and filters. Buckets can be based on Expenditures, Revenue, or a combination of Revenue and Expenditure Accounts. You must choose one when creating the bucket.

Create Buckets

  1. In Manage, select Configuration.

  2. Select Buckets.

  3. Select Create Buckets.

  4. Fill out the required fields in the form.

  5. Select Proceed to Scopes and Roles.

  6. Select +Add Scopes to determine what accounts are available in the Bucket.

  7. Select Proceed to Review.

  8. Select Confirm and Save.

Options for scopes (Bucket Rules)

When creating a scope for a bucket, users can create flexible rules ti display financial data to Manage users. In the setup, the following options are available Field, Operator, and Value.

Create Frequently Asked Questions

 The district defines Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that are associated with each Bucket. Up to four optional questions and answers can be configured for each Bucket. Use the following steps to create FAQS:

  1. In Manage, select Configuration.

  2. Select Buckets.

  3. Choose a bucket and select the pencil icon.

  4. Select + Add FAQ.

  5. Select Proceed to Scopes and Roles.

  6. Select Proceed to Review.

  7. Select Confirm and Save.

FAQs will appear in the View Details section of each Bucket. More details can be found here.

 

Edit a bucket

As a district administrator, you have access to a section called 'Configuration' where you are able to adjust Manage's settings.

  1. Select Configuration.

  2. Select Buckets.

  3. Choose the desired bucket.

  4. Select the pencil icon.

  5. Make your edits.

  6. Select Proceed to Scopes and Roles.

  7. Make your edits.

  8. Select Proceed to review.

  9. Select Save.

Delete a bucket

As a district administrator, you have access to a section called 'Configuration' where you are able to adjust Manage's settings.

  1. Select Configuration.

  2. Select Buckets.

  3. Choose the desired bucket.

  4. Select the trash icon.

  5. Select OK to remove the bucket.

Upload Buckets

  1. In Manage, select Configuration.

  2. Select Buckets.

  3. Select Upload Buckets.

  4. Select Download as CSV.

  5. Modify your template and select Upload.

  6. Select Review and Confirm.

  7. Select Confirm and Save.
