Overview

TWebSchool v.5.40.00.01 is compatible with Core Trillium v.3.15.25 and up. This release includes the following products:

TWebCE
TWebSA
TWebSTA

OS Certification

PowerSchool is pleased to announce the TWebSchool application has been certified for Java 8 and Tomcat 8. During the transition time period of March - September 2017, TWebSchool can be run either on Tomcat 7 or Tomcat 8. We will continue to release upgraded Trillium web-based applications according to our February, 2017 roadmap.

We strongly recommend that you do not install both the new and previous versions of Tomcat and Java on the same Server. We have not tested such a configuration and therefore do not support it.

TWebATT, TWebSA and TWebCE have been certified with iOS9.

Browser Compatibility

Starting from version 5.30.10, our application does not support Internet Explorer versions 7, 8, 9; and IE 10 and 11 Compatibility View. TWebSchool is fully certified with Microsoft Edge browser.

Apache Struts Vulnerability Fixes

This Update does not include the Apache Struts 2 vulnerability fixes we released in March and September. After installing TWebSchool 5.40.00.01:

Execute all of the instructions, applying both the March 16 and March 26 fixes;
Execute all of the instructions applying the Sept. 15 fix.
