Student Locator Icon

When the Student Locator icon is clicked in Student Maintenance, a class information pop-up box displays. This pop-up is updated to display the reporting teacher's name in addition to the student's classes for the day.

The Student Locator popup is updated to display the student's homeroom and homeroom teacher, based on the current date. If the student does not have a homeroom class assigned for a given day, the popup fields will remain blank.

The Index Card reports are now linked to the existing security task 'Student, Office Index Card'. User profiles should be checked for accuracy and updated as needed.

Contacts

On the Student Contact Relationship page, when the user clicked on the space between the Access and Guardian checkboxes, several unrelated checkboxes would be impacted, either selected or cleared. This issue is now resolved.

Staff Maintenance

Staff member records who have had an incorrect school year assignment removed cannot be located. This issue is resolved and after removing incorrect school year assignments, the Staff member record can now be found and added to the correct school year.

For students who are under the 1989 OSSD award, the Literacy Dip Requirement of 'NA' and Status of 'Not a Requirement' were not accessible or visible in the Award/Credit page of Secondary Achievement Setup.  This issue is resolved.

Transfer Student

When transferring students whom have special education records to another school within your board, the student's exceptionality, placements, and programs are incorrectly ended. This issue is resolved and the Board Preference "End Date SPED programs for Transferred students" will now be respected.

Incident Tracking

As part of the main upgrade package, a script is provided to ensure that the new infraction code for the Possessing alcohol or illegal drugs (except cannabis) field is used for incidents from October 17, 2018 forward. The old infraction code will be used only for incidents prior to October 17, 2018. The script will update to the proper infraction code based on the incident date.

Transcript Information

Q courses and Equivalent courses entered through Transcript Information were not being recognized as completed courses, resulting in the course calculations not being included in the compulsory credit calculations. This issue is now resolved. Scripts have been provided in the upgrade package to identify these courses as completed. Schools must run the Compulsory Credit Calculation to have these courses counted in the student's credit totals.

When deleting a suspension program, a NullPointerException error is displayed.  This issue is resolved and suspension programs are now deleted without error.

The Student Maintenance Preferences have been split into two pages, one for Board level preferences and one for School level preferences.

• The preference fields will exist on the corresponding page, depending on whether the preference is considered to be a school or board level preference.
• The Preferences menu option is now a drop down containing these two values.
  •  Access to this first menu level is controlled by a new security task STUMNT Preferences/MSJÉL-Préférences.
  •  Users who have been assigned the WWW Board Preferences/WWW Préférences du conseil have access to the subsequent Board Preferences page.
  •  Users who have been assigned the STUMNT School Preferences/WWW Préférences du conseil have access to the School Preferences page.
  •  In order for a user to see either the Board or School preference page, they must also be assigned the STUMNT Preferences security task.
