Do not use Excel to edit, modify or save your CSV files, as it changes formatting and causes errors during the loading of these files. Use Notepad to edit, modify, or save those files.

New Version of PowerBuilder 2017R3

The Trillium PowerBuilder applications no longer use a local Java environment for encryption or LDAP.

  • Encryption for LDAP is now processed by the Trillium Authentication and Authorization web service (TAAWS).
  • TAAWS must be installed and configured to continue to use LDAP. See Upgrade Instructions for more information.
  • PowerBuilder 2017R3 introduces new and stronger encryption utilities. The new encryption utilities secure login credentials used in the Gateway process to access OnSIS.
  • This release can only be installed using the new Trillium4R3 Installer.
  • All four Trillium PowerBuilder applications (Core Trillium, OnSIS, Ontario Reports, and Interfaces) MUST be upgraded at the same time.

Batch ProcessA new menu option, Create Batch CMD, is available from School Setup in Core Trillium. 
This new option will allow the user to create the batch command file with encrypted login credentials needed to schedule an OnSis batch function. Additionally, a new security task 'Create Batch CMD' has been created to allow access to the new Core Trillium feature. Please refer to Batch Process Instructions for details.
