Hotfix 1

Issue #1: After updating the new semester type and Last day of First Half End Date fields, Trillium continued to overwrite the updated values with the previous values from the School Preferences fields when the user accessed the School Years window after having switched from the 2021-2022 school year to the 2020-2021 school year.  The issue did not occur when moving from the 2020-2021 to 2021-2022 school year.

School Year Setup

The fields for identifying the type of semester offered at your school during the October and March count dates have been moved to the School Years window. The Last day of the First Half of the school year field has also been moved to this same window. Schools are now able to identify different values for the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. Scripts have been included as part of the upgrade files to set the values for the new fields (see posted files trill_update_school_years_mssql or trill_update_school_years_oracle).

Load Students

PT Calcs

The PT Minute Calculation has been updated to use the new semester type values from the school year window. An error message appears if this information has not been set up for the school.



Enrolment RegistersThe Enrolment registers for Quad/Octo schools has been updated to use the new semester type values from the school year window.

An issue with the Part Time Minute Calculations processing inactive student_enrolment data was causing some student to appear to be inactive. This issue has been resolved.




PreferencesA new school academic preference has been added to identify the delivery mode for Grade 10 English courses. The choices are 1) in school learning, 2) FT remote learning, 3) Combination in-school/remote, 4) Specify by course section and 5) Specify by student. This information will be used when generating the EQAO student file for the OSSLT testing.
