Single Sign-on Options for PowerSchool SIS

PowerSchool SIS supports multiple methods to enable single sign-on for users:

• OIDC - PowerSchool SIS single sign-on with external IdP

• SAML - Single sign-on with an external identity provider

• WS-Trust Bridge - Single Sign-on with PowerSchool WS-Trust Bridge

PowerSchool SIS as the Identity Provider

Additionally, PowerSchool SIS supports the ability for other PowerSchool products to use the SIS as an identity provider to support single sign-on. PowerSchool provides plugins to enable SSO for the products that support PowerSchool SIS as the identity provider.
