PowerSchool Admin - Class Rank

In some cases, when Class Rank is set to run during the nightly process, the incorrect GPA may be calculated and stored in the ClassRank table. This issue is now resolved.

As part of this release, additional classrank DAT tag options have been added/documented:
* schoolid - example: schoolid="100"
* grade - example: grade="9"
* year - example for 20-21 school year: year="2020"

A previously undocumented option
* term - The value from ClassRank.StoreCode. Value defaults to "".

PowerSchool Admin - Enhanced Health Functionality for Data Import Manager and Data Export Manager

Additional PowerSchool Data Sets have been added for the new functionality in Enhanced Health to the Data Import Manager:

• Health - Office Visits

• Health - Physicals

In addition, the following Enhanced Health PowerSchool Data Sets have been updated:

• Student - Office Visits includes new fields

• Health – Medication updated inventory and doses adhere to two decimals

PowerSchool Admin - Health Concerns

The Health Concerns page now includes a Show All (+0) checkbox. You can select the checkbox to view all health concerns (active health concerns and ended health concerns). The count (+0) indicates the total number of ended health concerns for the selected student. Ended health plans will appear in italics.

When dropping a student who is pre-registered for a section, the class count is decremented by 1 even though the student has not yet counted in the section. This could lead to inaccurate class counts or class counts of 0, particularly before the start of a new school year. This issue is now resolved.

PowerSchool Admin - Parent Portal Web Accounts Integration with Student Contacts

When attempting to update an existing Parent Access Account via import that has the required username and email address fields already created, that parent’s rows will fail to import if it has the account username but not the account email address, or vice versa.

Workaround: Do one of the following:

• Include both username and email address when updating an existing parent access account via import.

• Include neither username nor email address when updating an existing parent access account via import.

PowerSchool Admin - Parent Portal Web Accounts Integration with Student Contacts

When exporting data, if the contact does not have an access account, the Allow Data Access field is populated with the value FALSE, which indicates that data access is disabled. Instead, this exported value should be Null to indicate that it was not set.

Workaround: Do one of the following:

• Do not import the Allow Data Access field for contacts without a web access account.

• On the import file, set the Allow Data Access field to null.
