Saudi Arabia and Thailand Localization 24.10.0.0 - Release Notes

Field labels for these attributes will dynamically update based on the user's locale preferences. Saudi Arabia Name Structure on Teachers Portal in Select Graduation Plan Progress page | Implemented the PSF-106198 updates within the Teachers Portal to support the Saudi Arabia name format. You can find these changes by navigating to Student Information, selecting any student, and then choosing Graduation Plan Progress. |
Thai - Incorporate the latest address field changes from `PersonAddressCoreFields` to `PersonAddress`. | Thai Localization incorporates the recent modifications to the address fields, shifting from PersonAddressCoreFields to PersonAddress. These updates are reflected in the Demographics Address and Address pages, as well as in the listing screen [PowerQuery] and object reports. |

PowerSchool Components
Localization version 24.10.0.0 includes the localized packages for Thailand and Saudi Arabia and has dependencies on PowerSchool SIS Core version 24.9.0.0 or higher. Customers will need to request Cloudops to install either the Thailand Localization package or the Saudi Arabia Localization package along with PowerSchool SIS Core version 24.9.0.0 or higher.
The Thailand Localization package version 24.10.0.0 is automatically installed when 'Thailand' is selected from the country dropdown list and 'Thailand Common' is chosen from the state/province dropdown during the installation of PowerSchool SIS Core version 24.10.0.0.
If a customer has already installed the Thai Localization package version 24.7.0.0, they cannot upgrade selectively to PS SIS Core version 24.9.0.0 or higher without upgrading to the Thai Localization package version 24.9.0.0 or higher.
The Saudi Arabia Localization Package version 24.10.0.0 is automatically installed when 'Saudi Arabia' is selected from the country dropdown list and 'Saudi Arabia Common' is chosen from the state/province dropdown during the installation of PowerSchool SIS Core version 24.10.0.0.
If the customer is currently using the standard PowerSchool Core version (without localization enhancements) and wishes not to install the Saudi Arabia Localization package version 24.9.0.0 or higher, they must inform Cloudops in their request. This will ensure that Cloudops does not select Saudi Arabia from the country dropdown list during installation.
If a customer plans to upgrade only to PS SIS Core 24.9.0.0 or higher and not to Localization 24.9.0.0 or 24.10.0.0, they should avoid selecting Thailand or Saudi Arabia as the country during the initial installation. However, if they later decide to upgrade to the Localization package, they can run the Localization installer at that time, select Thailand or Saudi Arabia as the country, and the installer will then install the appropriate localizations for the selected countries."
