PowerSchool SIS 23.10.0.0

PowerSchool SIS version 23.10.0.0 is available as of October 12, 2023. This release is considered a minor feature/maintenance release. When the installers are available for download, an announcement will be posted on PowerSchool SIS Release Notification on PowerSchool Community.

Starting with the PowerSchool SIS 24.5.0.0 (Back to School) release, the option to turn off the Enhanced User Interface will be removed and the Enhanced UI will be the only interface available for PowerSchool SIS. Versions prior to 24.5 will still include the Classic User Interface. To learn more about the Enhanced User Interface, refer to FAQs: PowerSchool SIS Enhanced User Interface Webinar on Community.

New Features and Enhancements

District Management	The pages Calculate Teacher Maximum Load and Copy Master Scheduler have been removed from the Scheduling category in District Management because they are not functional at the District level. This change is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Export/Import	Changes have been made to the following Export/Import options to accommodate the multiple scheduled times that can be defined for a medication: Health: Medication now includes ScheduleTime and ScheduleID fields. Health: Medication Doses now includes a ScheduledTime field.
Export/Import	Data Export Manager and Data Import Manager logs have been moved to their own log file.
Favorites	Favorited pages inserted from plugins will now persist when the plugin is disabled/enabled or when the plugin is updated. This change is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Favorites	The Academic and Career Plans for Schools page will now open in a new tab from Favorites, identical to how it opens from the menu. This change is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Health	Multiple scheduled times can now be defined when adding a new medication or editing an existing medication. Consequently, changes to other pages include: The Time field of the Medication Dose and Inventory sliding windows can now display multiple dosage times, sorted in ascending order. The Daily Health To-Do List (Daily Log) will display a row for every time defined in the Medication. The Time field will initially display the scheduled time and will update to the value in the Given Time once modified. The Add/Edit Dose window now displays medication details in the upper section. When opened from the Medication Dose sliding window, the Scheduled Time dropdown field displays all remaining times requiring a dose to be administered. When opened from the Daily Health To-Do List (Daily Log), the Scheduled Time field displays the time value from the selected row. Data Import/Export have been updated to accommodate multiple time entries. The Health Medication Change History has been updated to accommodate multiple time entries.	Medication
Mobile Web Pages	The Mobile Web Pages for Administrators and Teachers now support grade level translations.
Performance	Users will no longer see a loading bar on a page due to the loading of the Change History link.
Reports	SRP reports (reports with the icon to the left of the name), on the System Reports page, have been updated and can now be added to the Favorites page in the Enhanced UI.

PowerSchool Components

PowerSchool SIS comprises several software components, each versioned independently. Independent versioning allows for greater flexibility of component updates as new features and bug fixes become available. Some updates may include dependencies between components. These dependencies will be communicated and built into the component update installers to prevent PowerSchool SIS from being misconfigured.
