Ecollect Forms/Enrollment Express 23.4.0.0

PowerSchool Ecollect Forms/Enrollment Express version 23.4.0.0 is available as of 4/16/2023.

The Ecollect Forms/Enrollment Express 23.2.0.0 release and above includes important jQuery UI library updates. PowerSchool highly recommends all customers upgrade their Ecollect Forms and Enrollment Express plugins to version 23.2.0.0 or above as soon as possible. Failing to upgrade Ecollect Forms and Enrollment Express before upgrading to an upcoming PowerSchool SIS release will result in some features not functioning correctly.

Admin – Approval Status

Administrators can now manage their forms’ submission status using a new Forms configuration setting:

  • Select System from the Start Page, then select Admin Submission Status under Forms Configuration.

  • Select Update the submission to approved status when admin submits a response and click Submit.

When approval for a form and the Admin Submission Status configuration are both enabled:

  • If there are no previous responses on the form and the admin submits a response for the student or teacher, the form status is set to Approved.

  • When a form response’s approval status is Approved and the admin submits another response for the student or teacher, the form status is set to Approved.

  • When a form response’s approval status is Rejected and the admin submits another response for the student or teacher, the form status is set to Approved.

The form status is reflected on the Responder page, Response Report, and Form List page.

When an administrator now loads the Teacher Category Completion Report at the district level, only the active teachers are reported as long as the teacher is active in at least one school within a district.

Admin – SIS Document Attachment Element

Deprecation of Cloud Pre-Registration Process

The now legacy Pre-Registration process in the Cloud Enrollment portal is being deprecated. Starting July 1, 2022, all Pre-Registration forms in the Cloud Enrollment portal will only support the current year (i.e., 2022-2023) as the entry year, preventing the use of the Cloud Pre-Registration process for 2023-2024 and beyond. Additionally, the Cloud Enrollment portal itself will be fully deprecated and taken offline on June 30, 2023.  Any Cloud Pre-Registration data you wish to transfer to PowerSchool SIS should be transferred before this date.

For the 2023-2024 Pre-Registration season, which typically starts February-April 2023, the new Pre-Registration process in PowerSchool SIS must be used.
