Freeze Parent Accounts

When you make student accounts inactive, the corresponding parent or guardian account becomes inactive by default. To inactivate only the parent or guardian account, freeze the account.

  1. Navigate to the student account.
  2. Locate the Naviance Student section of the student folder and find the parent or guardian's name.
  3. Select freeze account. The parent or guardian can no longer log in to Naviance Student.
  4. Alternatively, to restore access, select unfreeze.
You cannot freeze parent accounts in bulk.
