Login options
Overview
Naviance for Elementary supports multiple login methods for students and staff. The login options available to your district depend on whether you use single sign-on (SSO).

Clever SSO | Use single sign-on (SSO) login via Clever if using Clever to automate the secure transfer of student or staff rosters to Naviance for Elementary. | Staff Students |
SAML SSO | Use SSO via Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), which permits an Identity Provider (IDP) to exchange authentication and authorization data with Naviance for Elementary, a service provider (SP). | Staff Students |
SSO with Naviance for Elementary
If your district uses SSO for Naviance 6–12 and wants to enable SSO for Naviance for Elementary, you must use the same SSO method and the same source of rostering data for both sites. SSO cannot be set up for elementary unless it is already configured for Naviance 6–12.
To enable SSO for elementary students:
Map your elementary schools from Naviance 6–12.
PowerSchool enables the integration between your elementary and secondary sites.
Student data begins flowing to the elementary site.
If using Clever or Classlink for SSO, ensure the Naviance app is available to all elementary staff and students who will use the integration.
