New Feature

FeatureDescription

On-Form Address Validation

The On-Form Address Validation feature allows parents to validate an address while filling out a form. After entering the required address inputs, the parent can select the Validate Address option.

  • If the address is valid and there are no value or formatting changes detected, the address is deemed valid, and the parent receives a success message.
  • If the address is valid pending at least one value or formatting change, the parent is presented with a dialog asking them to confirm or reject the change. If the parent confirms the change, the address is updated and deemed valid. If the parent rejects the change, the address is not updated and deemed invalid.
  • If the address is incorrect and valid addresses exist, the parent is presented with a dialog asking them to select from the list of suggested addresses or select "None of the above." If the parent selects one of the suggested addresses, the address is updated and deemed valid. If the parent selects "None of the above," the address is not updated and deemed invalid.
  • If the address is incorrect and there are no suggested valid addresses, the parent is presented with a warning message asking them to make any corrections if appropriate.

The On-Form Address Validation feature can be set to required. When required, the parent is forced to interact with the validation feature in order to submit the form. This requirement enforces that the address is put through the address validation process but does not require the address to be valid.

The On-Form Address Validation feature is configured within the Form Builder using the new Address Validation element.

Additionally, the address validation workflow can be enabled within School Locator. When enabled, upon selecting the Find Zoned School option on the form, the On-Form Address Validation feature is executed up-front to determine the student’s valid address rather than the system guessing the address. The remainder of the School Locator feature is then executed to use that address to locate the student’s zoned schools. The On-Form Address Validation feature is enabled on the School Locator element within the Form Builder.

Resolved Issues

Product AreaDescription
Admin – Exporting Data Producing No ResultsWhen a user searched within the workspace using a search box above a column and then exported the data, the export contained no data, even though the search displayed results. This issue was resolved.
Admin – Recommendation Workspace TimeoutWhen the user attempted to access the Recommendation Workspace, the page load would sometimes time out. This issue was resolved.

Admin – Recurring Emails not Logged

When a recurring email job was executed, the job was sometimes not visible in the individual recurring email log, making it appear as if the job had not been executed. This issue is now resolved.

Admin – Required If Rules Reset

If Required If rules existed on a form element in the Form Builder and a rule was invalidated because a referenced field name or value no longer existed, when an administrative user attempted to preview or publish the form, the Requirement property on the element was automatically reset to Required. This issue is now resolved; the invalid rule is retained, and the user is informed of the validation issue and able to correct it.
