Response PDF Reports
Response PDF Reports streamlines the process of generating and exporting form response PDFs.
It allows administrators, parents, students, and teachers to generate PDFs of individual form responses easily. Users can now select the new Export PDF button at the top-right side of the form response to generate a well-formatted PDF containing all form elements and data.
Additionally, administrators can now generate PDF reports for single or multiple responses in bulk from the Response Report page. They can choose to export the content as either a Single PDF or Multiple PDFs, depending on their needs, and further customize the export by selecting either all form elements or a specific subset. When the Multiple PDFs option is selected, admins will be able to download a compressed ZIP file containing all PDF responses selected.

Generated Response PDF Report
The generated PDF maintains consistency with the form layout, including side-by-side containers, and ensures localization for different languages is adhered to. The elements within the form are automatically shown or hidden based on Workflow Mapping conditions and Element-level permissions, ensuring that only relevant data is included in the response PDF. Furthermore, the system automatically corrects malformed HTML or syntax errors within HTML present within the form editor element properties, and renders PDF properly without any need for manual fixes in the Form Builder.
Generated Response PDF Report
Side-by-Side Layout: Form elements are rendered in the Response PDF reports with the same layout as is configured in the Form Builder, including side-by-side containers.
Localization: The content rendered in the response PDF reports is fully localized, meaning the content is rendered in the language selected by the user when logging in (given translations for all message keys and form element properties are in place) and is oriented left-to-right or right-to-left based on the directionality of that language.
Workflow Mapping: Form elements are shown or hidden within response PDF reports based on the workflow mapping conditions configured in the form builder and the data scenario that exists in each form response.
Element Permissions: Form elements are included in or excluded from response PDF reports based on their role-based permissions configured in the form builder and the type of user generating the PDF.
HTML Error Handling: If a form contains incorrectly defined or malformed HTML, the PDF generation engine will automatically correct the syntax in the generated PDF to ensure successful rendering of the content in the PDF and to eliminate the need to track down and manually correct the HTML in the Form Builder.
Note
Custom CSS classes applied to elements in the Form Builder are not supported in the generated PDFs.
All elements are rendered in the generated PDFs using their default styles.
Generated PDFs do not contain Cloud Document Attachment elements or PIN/Password elements.
