Monitoring

Use the Monitoring page to track a student's diabetic monitoring events. Monitoring events can be scheduled as a single or recurring event. Scheduling monitoring events allow you to add future events for the student when they need to be scheduled into a particular cadence. Scheduled monitoring events appear on the Daily Health To Do List page.

Add Diabetes Monitoring Information

  1. Navigate to the Monitoring page.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter information as needed.

    • Carbs at Meal refers to the number of carbohydrates consumed at the student's last meal.
    • Meal Bolus refers to the unit of insulin administered to the student to bring down the student's blood glucose level after mealtime.
    • Correction Bolus refers to the unit of insulin administered to the student to bring down the student's blood glucose level as a corrective measure.
  4. Click Submit.

  • To edit an existing monitoring schedule, open the schedule, expand the details, and modify the information as needed. Select Update. Past events and events scheduled for today will not be affected by these changes.
  • Pending monitoring events may be deleted. Scheduled monitoring events may be deleted; however, only the future scheduled monitoring events will be deleted. Any previously scheduled monitoring events will not be removed.
  • The End function is available when a schedule has both past and future dates within the range. When ended, the end date is set to yesterday if the time is greater than the current time or set to today if the time is less than the current time.
