PowerSchool SIS version 184.108.40.206 is available as of September 8, 2023. This release is considered a minor feature/maintenance release. When the installers are available for download, an announcement will be posted on PowerSchool SIS Release Notification on PowerSchool Community.
To ensure all features within Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms will work as expected, customers are required to upgrade the Enrollment Express/Ecollect Forms plugins to version 220.127.116.11 (or higher) as part of a change to the database sequences used in the Contacts tables in this PowerSchool SIS release.

Data Export Manager
The following tables are now available in Data Export Manager:
PowerSchool SIS now supports UTF-8 characters in a limited number of reporting areas. This functionality is off by default and will be enabled by default with the PowerSchool SIS 2024 Back-to-School release. The following areas support UTF-8 characters when Use Advanced PDF Processing is enabled:

The Use Advanced PDF Processing option can be enabled on the Report Queue Preferences screen.
State Reporting (SRP) reports (reports with the icon to the left of the name), on the System Reports page, have been updated and now have a “back” button that will take the end user to the previous screen when selected in the Enhanced UI.
Remaining instances where success messaging was displayed on an independent page will now show the success messaging in a banner on the same page.
When a TLIST_SQL tag results in a SQL error the SQL that generated the error will not execute again for 5 minutes. This change is intended to limit invalid SQL from being executed on the Oracle Database.
Academic Grade Scales
Errors occurring in Firefox and Safari for the Academic Grade Scales page have been fixed. This fix is specific to the Enhanced UI.
An HTTP 500 error no longer occurs when accessing the /ws/v1/student API after a database extension with a remap is removed.
An error may occur when opening the Co-Teacher dialog after upgrading to PowerSchool SIS 18.104.22.168.
When working with Course Sections, an issue with course sorting has been fixed. This fix is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Blank rows will no longer occur when deleting a course via Direct Data Access (DDA).
The sort option has been removed from the Prerequisite Note, Fee, Relationship, and Sections columns and the Prerequisite Note and Fee columns on the Courses page.
Data Import Manager
The Download Failed Records file from the Data Import Manager will now contain all the failed records data that are displayed in the UI.
Data Validation Rules
An error no longer occurs when selecting a Boolean field on the Data Validation Rules screen.
Under certain circumstances, when a student test has been deleted in the application in the Fitness screen, that data would still be present when exported.
Printing the Discipline Log Entries report will no longer produce the following error when using the Selected Students option: "There are no records selected to print".
Switching students using the drop down while on the Modify Attendance page will no longer cause the page load to become stuck.
This change is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Quick Data Widgets
An issue with district-level preferences for Quick Data Widgets has been resolved. Users with access to the district context should review any personal settings as some may have been reverted as part of this change.
An issue with navigating to a teacher using Quick Search and then clicking an enrollment number on the Current Schedule page as been fixed. This fix is specific to the Enhanced UI.
Admin Username and Passwords save as expected when PowerSchool as a SAML SP is enabled when using the Admin Access and Roles screen.
The Exit Date on the Student Programs page will now display the transfer out date when the Also transfer out of selected programs flag is checked on the Student Transfer page.
An issue with the teacher’s name displaying on the Teacher Schedules page has been fixed. This fix is specific to the Enhanced UI.
The getAllCategories endpoint will no longer produce an error when it is filtered by metadata.userId.
Applying a date filter on endpoints will no longer cause SQL exception errors.
It is now possible to add and save a lab period to a section in the Visual Scheduler.
PowerSchool SIS comprises several software components, each versioned independently. Independent versioning allows for greater flexibility of component updates as new features and bug fixes become available. Some updates may include dependencies between components. These dependencies will be communicated and built into the component update installers to prevent PowerSchool SIS from being misconfigured.
