Student Account Management

There are various ways to manage a student account including the following.

Assign New Student Numbers

Assign New Student Numbers allows you to generate new student numbers for multiple students at once. To access this search, select People, click Students and then click Assign New Student Numbers.

This operation assigns new student numbers for the currently selected students. It is not reversible.

  1. Enter the number from which student numbers will generate.
  2. Click Submit.

Mass Create Family Links searches for students in the district who have matching Family ID or Student Phone values and creates family links between them. To access this search, select People, click Students and then click Mass Create Family Links. You will need to make a student selection if you do not have a current selection.

  1. Select the criteria for which you would like to search.
  2. Click Submit.

Set Student Field Values

Set Student Field Values allows you to change a specific field value for a group of students. To access this search, select People, click Students and then click Set Student Field Values. You will need to make a student selection if you do not have a current selection.

  1. Enter the Field to Change. Click Fields to access a list of current fields in your system.
  2. Enter a New Field Value. Insert * to combine the current field value with the new field value.
  3. Indicate whether you want to Clear Field Value.
  4. Indicate whether you want to overwrite existing data.
  5. Click Submit.

Assign IDs and Passwords

Assign IDs and Passwords allows you to change the IDs and passwords for a group of students. To access this search, select People, click Students and then click Assign IDs and Passwords. You will need to make a student selection if you do not have a current selection.

  1. Determine for which group you want to assign new IDs and passwords.
  2. Indicate whether you want to overwrite existing data.
  3. Determine how you want to handle potential conflicts.
  4. Select whether to Assign Student Usernames and passwords.
  5. Select whether to Assign Access IDs and passwords.
  6. Determine the username or Access ID criteria.
  7. Determine the password criteria.
  8. Select whether to Enable access accounts for processed students.
  9. Select whether to Enable access accounts for processed parents.
  10. Select whether to Assign Lunch IDs.
  11. Determine the Lunch ID criteria.
  12. Click Submit.
