Update Student Records by Batch

Update student demographic, academic, goal, and college application data across a graduating class using the Batch Updates tool in Naviance.

To update student record data in batch, use the Batch Updates feature to update the following student record data:

  • Applications by Student

  • Applications by College

  • GPA and Rank

  • Birthdate

  • Gender and Ethnicity

  • Goal and Outcomes

You can also update individual student records from the student folder or in bulk using a student data import.

Perform a batch update

  1. Navigate to Students, then choose Batch Update.

  2. Select:

    • Update GPA and Rank

    • Update Birthdate

    • Update Gender and Ethnicity

    • Update Goal and Outcomes

  3. Choose a class from the Change Class list, then click Change. The page displays a list of students whose last name begins with an A, if available. Select the desired letter to display students alphabetically by last name.

  4. Enter the new or updated information by student.

  5. Click Save and Continue to display a list of students whose last name begins with B, if available.
