Description

Manage Documents Permission

Created a new general permission to provide an additional level of workspace maintenance, specifically for uploaded documents, called Manage Documents. For users without the Super Admin role:

  • If users do not have access to any uploaded documents, they cannot view/download, upload, or delete documents, regardless of their permission profile’s Manage Documents permission setting.

  • If users have access to one or more uploaded documents but their permission profile does not grant the Manage Documents permission, they may view/download all documents available to them, but are unable to upload or delete those documents.

  • If users have access to one or more uploaded documents and their permission profile grants the Manage Documents permission, they may view/download, upload, and delete all documents available to them.

Users with the Super Admin role will always be able to view/download, upload, and delete all documents within the workspaces.

The Manage Documents general permission is available in both the Roster and Submission workspaces, and may be assigned per profile or through file import.

Upon deployment of Enrollment 25.10, all existing published action permission profiles that grant access to at least one uploaded document, either through the Roster or Submission Workspace, have been granted the Manage Documents permission. This maintains the status quo for all users.

Discard History - Roster and Submission Workspaces

Users with permission profiles that grant access to either the Discard Record or Recover Discarded Records workspace tasks can now view a Discard History section within the student record view.

If the record has never been discarded, the content will read: This record has never been discarded. After the record is discarded/recovered, the View Discard History link will be displayed, opening a dialog with the record's discard history.

The Discard History dialog includes a searchable, paginated table displaying the record’s discard history in descending chronological order, with columns for the date/time of the action, the user responsible, and the action (discarded or removed). The search in the dialog is enabled for all column entries.

The Discard History is supported within the Roster and Submission workspaces, and will begin creating entries upon deployment of this release.

School Locator Fallback Handling for US Addresses

Added Fallback handling for School Locator addresses with and without secondary components to improve geocoding accuracy. This enhancement applies to School Locator configurations that use polygon or shape files and to addresses within the United States.

Resolved Issues

Description

Admin - Rule Category required to save Approval Criteria

The At least one category needs to be selected error message would appear when attempting to save the Approval Criteria page from within the customer admin portal. This has been resolved.

Admin - Reject Reason Text Input Cleared When Clicking on Dialog

The Reject Reason dialog would automatically clear the entered text if the user clicked outside the input textbox but within the bounds of the modal window. This has been resolved.

Enhanced some workspace dialogs not to close automatically when clicking outside of the bounds of the dialog window. Instead, the user must explicitly click either the X or Close buttons to cancel and dismiss the modal.

Parent - Starting Pre-Populate on Demand Forms with spaces in Family Member name

Families encountered a Sign In Problem error when starting Pre-Populate on Demand forms if their Family Member’s name had leading and/or trailing spaces. This has been resolved.

Parent - Address Validation Without Apt/Unit Field Mapping

When On-Form Address Validation was configured without an Apt/Unit field mapping, if a parent attempted to validate an address that contained both the primary and secondary address (that is, an apartment) in the mapped Street field, the validation process failed. This has been resolved.
