Applications

Assign access to different PowerSchool applications on the Applications tab.

Assign Application Access

  1. On the start page, search for and select a staff member.
  2. On the Staff page, click Security Settings from the staff pages menu. 
  3. Click Applications.
  4. Use the following table to confirm and enter information in the fields:

    Field

    Description

    PowerTeacher Administrator

    Select the checkbox if you want this staff member to be able to sign in to PowerTeacher Administrator.

    ReportWorks Developer

    Select the checkbox if you want this staff member to be able to sign in to ReportWorks. To launch ReportWorks, see Launch ReportWorks Developer.

    Oracle Application Express Account (APEX)

    Select the checkbox if you want this staff member to be able to sign in to the APEX Builder application.

    Note: To reset the password, deselect the checkbox, submit, and then re-select the checkbox.

    Note: If this account has been locked in APEX, deselect the checkbox, submit, and then re-select the checkbox.

  5. Use the following table to enter information in the APEX Settings section:

    Field

    Description

    PowerSchool Username

    The staff member's PowerSchool username.

    First Name

    The staff member's first name.

    Last Name

    The staff member's last name.

    Email

    The staff member's email address.

    Password

    Enter the staff member's password.

    Confirm Password

    Enter the staff member's password again.

  6. Click Submit
